Medical and pharmaceutical grade waxes can meet BP-British, Ph. Eur.-European, or USP-American Pharmacopoeia standards.
These waxes are used for physiotherapy treatments, as tablets coating agents, excipients, stabilizer and release agents.

Medical and Pharmaceutical waxes are used to create ointments, creams and lotions, as well as being used by leading contact lens manufacturers. Medical waxes are available in a range of different degrees of oil retention, emolliency, rigidity and gelling strength.
