Types of natural wax

Our different types of natural wax

As a manufacturer and wholesaler specialised in waxes, we distribute a huge variety of waxes made with the most diverse natural materials.

The production process for vegetable, natural or botanical waxes is quite similar for all the types of waxes.

The base substrate is harvested and cleaned.
Mechanical and chemical processes are used to extract and refine an oil.
To keep it simple, think the press for making olive oil, and when possible an acid like citric acid.
This oil is then hydrogenated (Hydrogen is added to the unsaturated substrate by using a catalyst at different temperatures and pressures), to solidify it into wax.
It is then made in large slabs or, if possible, broken down in chunks, or pastillated, flaked, granulated.
